I'm sure you've seen a problem like this before, but try this one anyway:
I - IX = X
(1-9=10, for those who don't know Roman)
Your goal is to move only one line to make the equation make sense.
Ultimately, the solution is to not move any at all. You simply look at the problem upside down. When you do that, it says X = XI - I (10= 11-1). It makes perfect sense.
Often, the problem isn't the problem, it's us. We get in the way. Don't mess with the problem when the real problem is you.
Maybe we just need to stand on our heads now and then to get a better perspective.

What Gets You Angry?
Is there anything that you get really angry about? I don't mean things like someone cutting you off or insulting you. I mean some injustice that you can't stand. Something you feel motivated to do something about.
Well, there's good news. Your anger is good. Use it. Do something about that thing that makes you angry. Fight back. Stand up. Speak out. You feel like you should do something about it because you should. You should do something about it. You're supposed to do something about it.
The only question is: Will you?

Where's the Real Sacrifice?
Too often we think that sacrifice is simply giving up something we want in return for something else. And, it's usually in return for something that is deemed "better", but might not be more desirable to us or beneficial right now. We sacrifice our time (which we want) for money (which is supposedly better than our freedom).
But then there are those things that aren't really a sacrifice at all. The things that really are worth the trade-off. We really end up trading something that's mediocre for something that's great. We "sacrifice" our time (which we have a lot of if we use it wisely) for the freedom to run our own business, do things our own way, run our own life (which would take up our time anyway).
Is that really a sacrifice? Sure doesn't seem like it.
Are you trading something that's only so-so for something that's going to be exceptional?
Stop complaining about all the sacrifices you make, because, in reality, you're probably just trading up. With little risk, no actual loss, and no actual sacrifice.
So where are you making the real sacrifices?
